Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Jamming.Studio helps you find places to play, record, shop and get repairs. These terms set out how the directory works and what we ask of everyone who uses it.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use jamming.studio (“Jamming.Studio”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. The directory
Jamming.Studio is an information directory of jamming and recording studios, music stores, luthiers, gigs and events. Listing details such as rates, opening hours, addresses and photos come from public sources and from the businesses themselves, and they can change.
We work to keep listings accurate, but we don’t guarantee that any information is complete, current or error-free. Please confirm important details, especially price and availability, directly with the business before you go. If you spot a mistake, let us know.
3. Bookings and dealings with businesses
When you contact or book a studio, store, luthier or event organiser, for example through a WhatsApp, phone or ticket link, you deal with them directly. We are not a party to that arrangement and don’t take payments or booking fees for it. Any booking, payment, refund, cancellation or dispute is between you and the business, under their terms.
4. Gigs, listings and other submissions
When you submit a gig, a listing update or any other content, you confirm that:
- the information is accurate and you are allowed to share it;
- any contact details you include may be published, and you have permission to publish them;
- it isn’t misleading, unlawful, discriminatory or infringing anyone’s rights.
You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, edit for clarity and length, and promote that content on Jamming.Studio. We review submissions and may decline, edit or remove any of them at our discretion. Gigs are published only after approval.
5. Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- scrape, copy or harvest listings or contact details in bulk, or use them for spam or unsolicited marketing;
- submit spam, fake or misleading posts, or try to get around our spam protection;
- interfere with, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection to a business.
We may limit or block access for anyone who breaks these rules.
6. Our content and trademarks
The Jamming.Studio name, logo, design and original content belong to us. Business names, logos and photos shown in listings belong to their respective owners and are used to identify those businesses. You may share links to our pages, but you may not reproduce substantial parts of the site without our written permission.
7. Third-party links and services
The site links to and uses services we don’t control, including WhatsApp, Google Maps, Waze, OpenStreetMap and event ticketing sites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we aren’t responsible for their content or availability.
8. Advertising and partnerships
Featured listings, advertising, sponsorships and other partnerships are covered by a separate agreement with us. Ask about them on our Partnership page.
9. Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind about the site or the businesses, gigs and events listed on it, and we don’t endorse any listed business.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Jamming.Studio is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your dealings with listed businesses or event organisers, from inaccurate listing information, or from your use of or inability to use the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to the site and these terms
We may change or discontinue parts of the site, and update these terms. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above when we do. If you continue to use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
